Privacy policy.
Last updated: 27 August 2026
1. Who is responsible for your data
The controller of personal data collected through olko.agency is Aleksander Kołtyś, operating as unregistered business activity (działalność nieewidencjonowana) in Poland.
Contact for any privacy matter: contact@olko.agency.
2. What data is collected, and why
Contact form. When you submit the form on this site, the following is processed: your name, email address, and — if you choose to provide them — your business or brand name, current website address, project type, estimated budget and the message you write.
- Purpose: to answer your enquiry and, where relevant, to prepare and discuss a proposal.
- Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract; and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — the legitimate interest of responding to business correspondence.
- Providing the data is voluntary, but without a name and email address I cannot reply.
Server logs. The hosting provider records standard technical data for every request (IP address, time, browser type, requested resource) in order to keep the site running and secure. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Analytics. Statistical data about visits is collected only if you explicitly agree in the banner shown on the site. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR — your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
3. Who else processes the data
- Formspree, Inc. (United States) — delivers contact form submissions to my inbox. The transfer outside the European Economic Area is covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
- Netlify, Inc. (United States) — hosting and content delivery for this website, covered by the same safeguards.
- hosting-home.pl (Poland) — email hosting for the contact@olko.agency mailbox.
- Google Ireland Ltd. — Google Analytics 4, only after you consent. If you decline, or do not answer the banner, no analytics scripts are loaded at all.
Your data is never sold, and is never shared for advertising purposes.
4. Cookies and local storage
This site sets no cookies of its own. It stores a single value in your browser's local storage — your answer to the analytics consent banner — so that you are not asked again. Removing your browser data removes it.
Analytics cookies from Google Analytics 4 are set only after you choose "Allow". To withdraw consent, clear this site's data in your browser; the banner will appear again on your next visit.
Web fonts are served from this domain, not from Google Fonts, so no data about you is sent to a font provider.
5. How long the data is kept
- Enquiries: for the duration of the conversation and up to 24 months afterwards, so that I can pick up a thread you may return to. Longer if a contract results, for as long as accounting or limitation periods require.
- Server logs: according to the hosting provider's retention policy, typically no more than 12 months.
- Analytics data: up to 14 months.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to: access your data, rectify it, erase it, restrict its processing, object to processing based on legitimate interest, receive your data in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing carried out before the withdrawal.
To exercise any of these, write to contact@olko.agency. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority: Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa.
7. Automated decision-making
Your data is not used for automated decision-making or profiling.
8. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new date at the top.
